Hi, I'm about to start year 13 in september and will be an early applicant. I'm applying for architecture courses so I'm building my portfolio. However, I'm really confused as to when I'm supposed to send in my portfolio? Do I send it with my UCAS application, after? Will the school contact me after my application is received? Or is there a universal deadline? I've tried looking on different schools' websites but I cant seem to find an answer. The schools I'm applying to, if it affects it, is Cambridge, UCL, UAL, Sheffield and Loughborough

Portfolios are now normally dealt with as digital images - ie. you dont usually send your physical portfolio anywhere - and/or some Uni may ask for it to be presented at interview.
See https://www.bathspa.ac.uk/how-to-app...tfolio-advice/ s general 'art course' advice or https://www.reading.ac.uk/en/archite...cation-process as specifics for architecture

Once you have applied through UCAS, each Uni will assess your application and then send you an email if they want you to submit your portfolio to them - this has nothing to do with UCAS and is organised by the individual Unis you have applied to.

Most universities will have more information on their website about portfolio deadlines.
They’re outside ucas so each university will have different deadlines and different requirements (Bartlett will ask you to submit a task and a mini portfolio iirr then if you’re shortlisted from that you’re asked to submit a full portfolio, Cambridge has an early deadline too because you bring your portfolio to interview iirr)
