Hi, I've been watching Korean dramas lately and I just love the culture, food, and lifestyle. I was wondering if there are any Koreans here who want to be friends with me, I would love to know more about your culture.

if you're interested in learning the language, you should see if there are any language learning apps that allow you to chat with native speakers. Maybe those who are looking to learn English? Maybe check out discord groups for your interests too

& Stop fetishing Koreans

Not all Koreans look like Taehyung, Jungkook or Namjoon

And why do you want your friends to be a certain country or race? Like if you live in the UK, your friends are obviously going to be British. Seeking out a certain race is creepy

They are using TSR to find 'korean friends'. Well firstly, the forum is British, so they are only going to find British friends or British Korean friends.
The OP is not from South Korea, they just watch Kdramas or Kpop. You don't just change your friends or dating preference because of a Kdrama or Kpop
Changing your preference just to South Korea is just creepy. They didn't say.. I want Asian friends from India or China or international friends. Just South Korea (which is just one country).
Reminds of some weird obsession that some men have with Russian or Ukrainian girls

I made a thread for V.. Okay firstly.. V is a millionaire, a singer, dancer and one of the most handsome man alive. V looks and voice are rare in South Korea too. That's why BigHit casted him and his friend (s) failed. V would have been a model or actor, where ever he lived. He's talented and handsome by any standard

obviously you dont know uch about tsr there are many different ethnicities on here why do you think we have an "international forum"? they never said they were changing friends they just wanted new/more friends from a specific area they are interested in. granted its not the usual thread you see or something someone asks on the regular but getting new friends isnt a problem. the mentioned kpop and kdramas but that doesnt mean that those were the reasons why. op is obviously very interested in korean culture like they said and want to know more from korean people, you know first hand experiences and ****

"one of the most handsome men alive" ~ many people will disagree with that statement since we all have different preferences but tsr gets many threads a day saying how amazing and talented and rich v, jk or some other bts member is. we get more korean based "troll" threads over other threads. you dont see 5-10 threads a day about how handsome and talented and rich ed sheeran is or rdj.

Anyone can be interested in any particular culture and the people. If you think that is creepy then be it cuz no one actually cares?

looool there's nothing wrong with wanting to know more about someone's culture by being friends with them, I like Turkish dramas and have made friends with Turkish people because we enjoy the same things and like to learn about each other's culture, I also have friends from Japan and Korea and we exchange and learn about each other's cultures too because we are friends.

I think it is clear the op wanted to find out more about the korean culture, think the criticism was a bit harsh. Many an academic or country specialist has started off by having an interest in one country then sought more information, you get more information often from talking to people than books ...
