I don’t understand how clearing works

Do I call the uni? Because I can’t seem to find the exact course by searching their website.
Are you in clearing?
Is the course you’re interested in listed on the UCAS course search as having vacancies?

If so then yes you call the university

I’m not exactly sure, I’m not really getting any results on UCAS, so maybe not.
Universities will not declare all their vacancies until A level Results Day - because until then they dont know how many vacancies they have (think about it).

You cannot enter Clearing until a) you have your results and b) you are not holding an offer or a confirmed place at any University.

When you log into Track what does it say?

Are you waiting for any results?

Have you looked on the ucas website course search for courses with vacancies?

That I didn’t get into any of my choices.

No.

I have searched for vacancies but cannot find anything.

Then you should have the option to “add a clearing choice” unless you only applied to 1 choice originally.

You need to keep watching vacancies and look at what IS available (vacancies will change throughout the next month) and consider whether you are willing to compromise on university/location/course. If you’re not willing to compromise on university/location/course then you’ll need to start making plans for a gap year and reapplying for 2022 entry in case your preferred choice isn’t available.
