I am looking to stay in accommodation for 3 nights a week and have found someone that will let me lodge/rent their flat for just them 3 nights a week. Being 16 years old, can I do this or would the owner need to go through any legal work or would it be a case of making our own written agreement between me, the owner, and my parents?

At 16 you can live on your own or whoever you wish.

Though don’t think you are allowed to pay rent.

Oh right, sorry. I asked if anyone had any accommodation, etc on a Facebook group of the town I’m looking in. Someone got in touch and I have met them in person and viewed the property.
