Hi

I will be starting a 1 year MPhil in Cambridge in October as a 28 y/o international student (single female). I've been out of university for about 5 years and have been working in a great job as a civil servant. I have always wanted to study at Cambridge and the stars happened to align this year.

I know it's impossible to generalise or predict what my experience will be like, but I was wondering if anyone has any tips to get the most out of the experience (assuming the pandemic won't lead to another lockdown of course)? I want to strike a good balance between making friends, studying, dating, travelling etc. (much easier now that I've lost my procrastination tenancies after being in the workforce for a while!).

Thanks in advance for your responses!
