It’s August already! Image

Maybe you’re excited for the (hopefully) warmer weather, meeting up with friends or collecting exam results - let me know here

Nothing. A month off College is nice though.

Looking forward to seeing my grandparents in France for the first time in two years.

Not looking forward to the idiotic quarantine rules for arrivals from France though.
(Having just looked things up, France might be taken off the amber+ so I don't have to quarantine for 10 days. Nice)

I get my final grade for my course on the 10th, and I'll be meeting some friends this month.

Potentially will have some training days before I start my apprenticeship next month.

My daughter's first batch of I/GCSE results (I'm not sure "looking forward to" is quite right, but I'm on tenterhooks waiting for them.)

My son's 14th birthday.

Seeing my dad again for the first time in a year.

I look forward to looking back at my August at the end of the month and being content that I’ve been productive with my summer break.
