Hi everyone,
I've finally joined these forums after lurking for ages... But anyways,
I've applied to do Psychology at St. Andrews, sent my application off in November but still haven't heard anything. I've been hearing people recently getting offers, and like someone said earlier, its better to be kept waiting than rejected... maybe...

hey dont worry theres quite afew of us  applied for BSc psychology in december and still waiting... but look on the bright side only two/three more weeks of waiting max!

How were everyones Jan exam results?
 ACE. Yours?
Aww thanks everyone, I can't quite believe it myself :woo: I'm currently sick so this was quite a good thing to cheer me up with!
Now I'm stuck between Glasgow, Edinburgh and St Andrews. I've never visited Edinburgh but I'm going there on Wednesday, there's an applicants' day at Glasgow at the end of the month and I think I'm going to another visiting day at St As on the 15th of April - I went there for the day in October but I definitely want to see all three unis in a short space of time before I make any kind of decision.

wooooooow

Thanks Ezraa, its still annoying having to wait though. Especially if they reject me after waiting for so long!
I'm glad that at least we'll know in a couple of weeks. It is a popular course, isn't it?

Yeh janettas is pretty good for lunch, otherwise North Point on North Street does a lunch deal with soup and a sandwich etc. I mean there are lots of cafes etc, but they're probs best for lunch that i can think of off the top of my head. Dinner... well Bella Italia and Pizza Express you can never really go wrong with, I've heard The Glass House (North Street) is good... otherwise there's The Grill House, Zizzis, Dolls House, ehm and quite a few others. Down the bottom of Market Street there are Chinese/ Thai/ Japanese restaurants and takeaways, and a chippy too...

Thanks!
I'm going to try and find decently priced places, spare my poor dad's pocket even more than the B&B and the 18hour round trip...
