Haha, I said 'If at all possible would prefer St Salvators' etc, and put preffered shared etc :P
So I'm hoping my odds are high!

Ooh, that is a bit risky!

Yes, sounds like you were a bit more sensible than me... Ah well. You can look forward to me gatecrashing your room to be amongst the beautiful buildings!!:p: This is really random as well, but I just found out that I was on the news on Tuesday - the 6PM one being the last broadcast with me on. Unfortunately was in St Andrew's so wasn't watching TV at all. Anyway, that's my random excitement for the evening.

 <P> I was on the news saying one line about raised tuition fees discouraging people from poorer backgrounds from applying to university. Not that exciting I guess...

I have a single room. Most of the rooms in Lumsden are single which is great! I do know quite a few people with shared rooms in Uni Hall, and they are pretty huge! My friends who share a room at the end of the same corridor ahve a room about 3 (at least) times as big as mine!

Yeh, it's pretty cool! There is an actual "music room" too, which you can book, and also a grand piano in the Wardlaw common room too.

You're welcome

Sorry to bug again  But is there like a music centre where you can just go in and go on whatever instruments you like? I want to start playing the drums again! :yep:

Hehe, no worries, any questions are very welcome! Ok so I just went and asked one of my good friends who is the 1st year rep for MusSoc... and she says it's very easy, all you need to do is register with the music department/society, and then you can go in and use the instruments, and if you're wanting lessons, you can sign up for lessons too (they're priced at the normal rate...) Hope that's of some help!

Ok klkl! Well I have no idea, and I don't think my friend will know about the drums in particular as she plays sax and flute, but I'm sure it'll be in pretty good condition! Don't think they'd get away with it being broken tbh... I could be wrong, but I'd imagine it's pretty good!

Gaah I finally gave in and e-mailed them about the conditions for my offer. I'm hoping my 10 in Ancient History might lower the average of an 8 they want a bit. (They asked for a 9 in Ancient History.)

There's no harm in emailing them about conditions, they're not going to take your offer away because you asked for it to be lowerd :s-smilie: simmer down

Uff, just received a rejection for Financial Economics. I'm almost a bit surprised to get rejected after being accepted into MORSE at Warwick for which I had definitely expected a rejection due to my 'weak' maths grade and my PS being all for Finance and Econs without ever mentioning Maths at all^^

But well, St A was the only Uni I've applied to which could have changed my mind in favor of studying in the UK, so at least I'm now sure to do law in continental Europe
