I haven't looked at the offer pack yet then! Didn't even realise that we had received one - sorry snowrockandice for misinforming you there! - might be to do with the fact that I was on holiday when the forms came and so it was opened by my mum first...
Will have to investigate!
I swear it said offer pack somewhere on the wrapping plastic
Yes I went to the most recent open day and met Alexandra there!
Unfortunately the only pictures I took were about three on the beach. After the first ten minutes I forgot about the camera and just tried to take as much in as possible by being there. However, before I went and cancelled my FB account for lent I found the St Andrew's groups on there had really good photos. I definitely recommend taking a look if you've got an account.
I don't think any of the offer stuff was that important apart from the very exciting offer letter and that 'Your offer of a place' thing said what all the term dates were and such...
I was thinking of phoning up the admissions office and enquiring as to when I should expect a decision. Would this be a good idea, or should I just be patient?

I wanted to do the same, but I don't want to irritate them into rejecting me
Hehe. Don't leave just yet. I think I'm gonna stick around for a few days just to see how everyone else are progressing and... besides, people are nice here
It's always a bit unfortunate when you start to hang out in threads like this and start to get along with people and then you hear that either they or you didn't get into that uni and all.
I'm genuinely quite miffed to hear that. It makes me feel guilty for applying to a department with so little competition.
What do you intend to do?
Well, i've applied to Lancaster through Extra. Incase I realllly want to go to uni this year. But, depending on grades in August, I might take a gap year and see if I can't get into St Andrews second time round. My AS grades werent great, so that probably explains the rejectionsss. But going back with AAAA/AAAB might give me a better chance.
I thought i'd be really upset...but I just feel...empty, which is possibly worse.

I know exactly how you feel. still debating the Extra thing tho. Can you still hold an offer and go through extra? and do you have to wait for all your offers.... my unis are still making me WAIT!!!
