rOYAL.
I hope so!
Thank you!
I have also applied to Warwick - MORSE, UCL - Statistics, Economics and Finance, and Cass - Investment & Financial Risk Management + Banking & International Finance.

I don't have any decision yet... but I've sent off my UCAS form just a week ago

Yeah Warwick is great! I really loved the campus when I visited it!
Which of your choices is your top choice?
Reply 581
St Andrews. sometimes I think I would enjoy Cass even more because of the city... But their course does not sound as "academic"
If I don't make it into St A I really won't know where to go (provided I got offers the other unis). Warwick has a great campus + great course, Cass is in London + great course but none of my chosen courses are really comparable... UCL was rather a 'let's choose another course with 'finance' in from a prestigious uni' - choice.

what are your other choices?

I applied to LSE, Warwick, Durham, St Andrews and York.
Have you allready taken STEP and an english proficiency test?
Reply 583
No, neither of them.
When I contacted the unis, none mentioned an English test as an entry requirement, asked for 12 in the Abitur instead. And Warwick told me they'd ask a minimum of 13 in Maths, but didn't mention STEP. Well, registration opens on 2nd March for STEP so there will be plenty of time if they want me to do a paper

My friend got an offer for Biology there for AAB and she didnt even have an interview, her AS-grades are worse than mine maybe it was due to her doing a language at AS i dont know. I also emailed the admissions tutor (in november), but i still haven't received a reply the snobby-nosed **************** But anyway im still waiting for a reply frm St A's!

I don't think AS grades have much to do with it its your predicted grades that count. I didn't do too well in my AS's either but i had the good combination of Maths, Biology and Chemistry with Physics AS.

Actually 2 out of the 4 study units are the same as Biology and 3 out of the 4 are actually nothing to do with humans at all...only the unit im starting now is all about the human body, its a bit misconceiving isn't it?
Reply 592
I suppose you agree with my assertion that humans are boring? Great news!

Yeah, I suppose the members of the kingdom that are fundamental to every one of the planet's ecosystems, all but a few isolated exceptions, are quite interesting.

Bacteria and fungi even more so.

Where? When? Why? For what?

Hello everybody! I have applyed to St. Andrews as early as the 8th of Sep and my course is International Relations. And I am still waiting.........
I am from Bulgaria, I study at the American College of Sofia, and it seems to me as if there might be a problem with the type of my qualifications (Bulgarian High School Diploma) and that is why, I think, there is still no reply. I wondered if there are other Bulgarians studying at SA that applyed having similar qualifications.
As in terms of other offers, Nottingham offered me a place and Cambridge rejected my application.

Congratulations to all that already have their 1st choices or at least are satisfied by the results of their applications.
Yay!!! 34 in the IB to come and do Spanish and Russian!!!!!!!!!! I'm over the moon!
