How long did it take for your offer to come? My friends have started getting offers from other unis already, but I think I've applied to a bunch of really slow ones plus Cambridge.

I applied around the 3rd week in October and didn't receive my offer until the 8th of February. There were loads of people who were waiting longer than me though:yep:

got my Acknowledgement today.:smile:

What sucks, is they said they will most likely not give offers till after the UCAS deadline:frown::

"For applications from the UK and EU, most of our offers will not be made until after the UCAS deadline, 15th January. This is because we are committed to considering equally all applications eligible for funding from the British government."

oh well...

It'll be through e-mail. EVERYTHING is done through e-mail, which makes losing messages a whole lot easier...

Went to the open day today.

Love it, will cry if I don't get in :frown:
I was at a talk in St. Andrews yesterday, if I had known about the open day I would have planned to go.

St. Andrews looks amazing! I really want an offer :/

Haven't received acknowledgement yet
I just got two emails from St. Andrews. One acknowledging my application, and the other asking me to send them my transcript from last year and SAT score reports! Hopefully this means they'll get back to me with an offer soon.....

Don't worry about not getting any acknowledgement:yep:
Last year there were loads of us on here who didn't get any form of acknowledgement yet still got offers....so don't fret:wink:

I applied to KCL, Bristol, St Andrews, Durham and Edinburgh. Bristol got back to me at the end of October and my next decision wasn't until 8th February with an offer from here!:p: But it's SO worth the wait!:biggrin:

My acknowledgement came exactly a week after I sent my application; in the form of an email. Good luck:biggrin:
