It took 8 hours on a megabus for me = hell on earth.

I always get the megabus to and from uni, and I live in LONDON. Fun times...

Hey! I have also applied for Management and haven't heard anything yet! Im quite worried too! When did you send your application?

Oh my, it can't be very pleasant.

I mean to be fair, there is no cheaper way, you can't really beat £10-14 Preston-Dundee. It costs an insane amount on the train. But, I dont think I will ever forget my encounter with the megabus onboard toilets :lolwut:

Speaking of St Andrews...I haven't checked track for at least what...2 and a half hours

Oh my God, the toilets. I have become a master at the art of dehydrating myself out of fear that I might need to go...

Without hijacking the thread, I see you're in the same part of London as me, and was wondering how/what's the cheapest way to get to St Andrews? Hoping for an offer....

you can get a train ticket from Edinburgh to Kings Cross for £9 with a rail card and £14 without :s-smilie:

I'm banning myself from track, but no emails at 12, so not yet :frown:

Warwick just sent me feedback though which cheered me up a bit. Wasn't as harsh as I thought.

Oh that's nice then  anything major?
My friend's feedback from Durham wasn't harsh exactly, but listed her as unsuccessful due to: Personal Statement, Reference, Predicted and Acheived grades...
OUCH. What else would there be left?!
I did apply to Durham :\ eeeeeeeeek!

How come? I loved my reference haha
You've never been shown it? That would scare me a bit
I bet it is impressive then

I'm not entirely sure, if it makes you feel any better, I don't think they've given out many offers yet, shouldn't be much longer.
Edinburgh was my 2nd, aha, but not anymore. I actually don't have a insurance...or a firm for that matter.

Ah thanks - neither do I atm. I mean I could theoretically go Exeter (F) QMUL (I) but really don't want to.
Really love the scots system and all that.
Oh well - back to obbsessive Track checking !

It does make me a bit nervous, but it can't be too bad I guess. I'm not entirely sure how I can get hold of it though, the tutor that wrote it has left, I believe.

Oh you have to pay UCAS £10 to send you your entire application then, theres a number on the 'FAQ' bit of their post app bit on the site!

Well, as has been mentioned, Megabus is by far the cheapest (£7-£15 depending on when you travel), but it is a 12 hour journey. Aside from that there are trains which go from Kings X to Leuchars, whch I once managed to get for £15, but which I believe are more usually in the area of £40-£50? No idea how much the plane costs.
Good luck! x
Even I find it difficult travelling to St Andrews, and I come from Newcastle.
