I'm interested in applying for theology at university and for most courses it is compulsory to study a scriptural language which I'm really excited about! However, I haven't studied any languages since year 9 as my anxiety became too severe for the oral element so had to drop out of French and German classes. I would hate for having no language qualifications to be something that universities hold against me, does anyone have any suggestions of how I could do something involving languages as an extracurricular? I'm looking into evening languages classes at local colleges but I don't know if any are available and how manageable it would be around a level work so I need a back-up option! TIA x
