I’m just wondering if anyone has ever completed first year but then deferred entry into second year at university? Obviously I assume student loans would be paused for that year. Also wondering if anyone had even did this at the university of glasgow? Thanks!

Yes, many people temporarily withdraw and re-enrol after a year. Whether it's possible for you will depend on Glasgow's policy and your personal circumstances. You need to speak to your academic department and/or your personal tutor.
