I have studied 3 Alevels previously when I was 16-19 years old, in Fine Art Photography, History of Art and have an AS level in English Language. I then went on to study Primary Education- undergraduate level and then studied a masters in Education. I now want to change my career and study Physiotherapy, however, to do so I need to complete an Access Course in Health. My question is with my previous education (particularly the Alevels) would I be entitled to an Advanced Learner Loan or would I have to pay the course fees myself? I don't think my previous education was financed through an advanced learner loan as these were courses I studied straight after school. Thanks for any help anyone supplies I really appreciate it.

Advanced Learner Loans don’t have any restrictions on previous study/qualifications. You can use them to retrain
