Can anyone please help me!

I have applied and have been accepted onto a postgrad at City University of London for Sept 21, however I would need to study a few weeks online due to a personal issue I have, as many international students on my course would need to as well due to covid.

I have already asked my tutors and they said that I am not allowed to do this, but I also don't want to defer my place.

I feel that the tutors aren't being at all understanding of my issues, should I just take that time off regardless and risk missing the classes?

Has anyone been in a similar situation at City, University of London before? How did you resolve it?

Any help would much appreciated!
