People who earn above £12,570 p.a. are taxed. So most people working full-time minimum wage jobs will be taxed.

Do they pay rent? I mean, maybe? I don't know how people live off of minimum wage though tbh.

what if your working a part time minimum wage job? do they get taxed? and if the part time job then turns into a permanent full time position will it still be minimum wage?

Well if you earn over your personal allowance each year, then yes. You will be taxed. But minimum wage varies based on age (and if you are on an apprenticeship) so that plays a part.

As for if they pay rent, it depends on living circumstances.

so what if its something like £710.67 a month for 18-20 year olds?

Do you mean per month? Because on that pay a month, you wouldn’t be taxed (presuming that is your only income for the tax year)

12570/12= 1046.50 per month. Anything over that you get taxed on.
