Hi,

Just wondering what people use to call their friends on. I mostly use WhatsApp for messaging and end up calling them on that and im just wondering what others use.

:ditto:

I find sound quality on WhatsApp voice calls isn't as good as that on a normal call. Which isn't great for me, as I have a hearing problem

Of the two, call over the phone.
But I prefer to chat with friends online, phone text or meetup face to face.
I don't have a smartphone or wifi.

I only started using Whatsapp since I started uni because a lot of my modules had group chats on there, and we used it for group projects etc.

Oh, I guess it can also include messenger since most people use that too.

I tend to use normal calls, the digital disruption and lag on WA calls tends to give me a headache pretty quick, often now ill simply refuse to answer them but ill sometimes make an exception for friends abroad

I use WhatsApp to message some people. If I was going to ring them, I’d ring them normally (using my minutes)

If I'm at home I call people on Whatsapp, if I'm not I use my minutes.

WhatsApp in some cases can have a lower call quality, but in comparison to 'normal minutes' I have no idea since our coverage here is awful.
