We will receive A level results on the 10th August. will we also receive a confirmation email from Oxford on the same day? Or is it different date for different college?

UCAS Track should update around 8am on results day, so you’ll be able to check on there to see if you got in. I don’t think this varies by college, though if colleges send their own communications to offer holders I guess the timings of those could vary a bit, but UCAS is pretty standard.

My child has her place firmed yesterday. Does she need to press a button to accept/confirm it? There doesn’t seem to be one.

No. If she got accepted into her firm choice there's nothing else she needs to do on UCAS.
