Definitely! In my house there is a rule - whoever cooks doesn’t have to clean

Wow, you're lucky to get three meals cooked for you a day. Don't get too used to it!

Generally yeah but my ex used to cook and eat very disproportionately to me, so it didn't seem fair when i was minimal and he was outrageously messy and gluttonous. Plus he ate greasy fatty meats and i was a veggie so it felt gross dealing with all his mess

Personally i wouldn't expect someone to clean my pots, i cook according to when i have time to clean after myself, if i'm super busy and he wants to make a feast that's not fair

if we cook for both of us it's good to divide it

Yes if a bf cooked me a meal, I'd tidy up and do the dishes.
That said, I eat a maximum of two daily meals and prefer to homecook my own food.
I have allergies and can be quite particular about my food.

My girlfriend gets up early and does all the cleaning, feeds the animals and prepares the meals to serve to me. All with the help of some birds and mice, and she sings whilst she works.

Super spicy beef phal curry with extra hot chilli powder and raw chilli seeds.
Served with four freshly baked naan breads and lots of cherryade.
Union Jack Wearing Bulldog is served his own giant platter and still tries to steal my meal.

Tasty but that sounds like a lot of heat though. Some of us want to taste our food not sweat profusely while eating or have numb tongues
