How do people deal with having no friends currently at uni and haven't had any friends for about 2 years now first due to gap year which didnt amount to much second one due to covid and distanced learning. But yeah having no friends is starting to effect my mental health quite a lot

Just do things for yourself, keep yourself occupied, and join societies, try to interact with people whenever you can, be it on your course or in the societies, they don't have to be 'friends' but the little bit of social interaction will be healthy.

Also reach out to your uni's mental health services if you feel you are struggling.
