Do I take an ipad pro, macbook or a Windows 2 in 1 to university (medicine)

Hi! I have trouble deciding what to take to university since I dont have much experience with electronics . I'll be studying medicine and these were the IT requirements listed on the unis website


Windows PC (Running Windows 10 Home/Professional)

Minimum hardware:

- Hard Drive 256GB

- Memory: 4GB

- Processor: Intel Core i3, series 6 or above


Recommended hardware:

- Hard Drive 256GB SSD

- Memory: 8GB

- Touch: Integrated Touch (for Anatomy Apps)

- Camera: Integrated Camera

- Processor: Intel Core i5, Intel Core i7, series 6 or above

- Dedicated Graphics Card (optional)


Mac Books (Running macOS Mojave) Intel chips only (M1 chips not supported by ExamSoft)

MacBook: Early 2015 or newer

MacBook Air: Mid 2013 or newer

MacBook Pro: Late 2013 or newer

Mac Mini: Late 2014 or newer

iMac: Mid 2014 or newer

iMac Pro

Mac Pro: Late 2013 or newer


iPad (Running iOS 11 or later)

- iPad Air (all models)

- iPad Pro (all models)

- iPad (2017 or newer)

- iPad mini 4


Augmented Reality (for Anatomy apps):

- iPad Pro (all models)

- iPad (2017 or newer)
