Hi I'm looking at studying animal nursing. I know most places want you to go to university or to do an apprenticeship in a practice. However I wounder if a online course would help to get to where I want to be? I currently have the qualifications in equine care but due to back problems have been advised to move to smaller animals however nobody seems to want to take me on in a small animal practice. I can't really afford to go back to apprenticeship level due to having a mortgage to pay for. Any suggestions?

I’m not exactly an expert on the topic but I don’t think you can just do an online course and be done with it.
Maybe you could do a course with an online university such as the OU so that you can work alongside and do the course in your own time?
