How are you feeling about your results?

All week this week students will be receiving their results.

No matter what year or qualification you studied - how are you feeling about them!?

For most of you, you would have been graded in a different way this year because of the pandemic, so it might have been pretty hard to know what to expect.

If you need support today, we're here for you. Pop into the applications, clearing and ucas forum and our advisors will be there to help.

Morning :wavey:

I'm feeling very nervous and apprehensive currently

Hoping for three distinctions and my next step on the journey is to study at the University of Birmingham for Nursing :woo:

Hiya!

Feeling much better now I have my results for sure aaaaand I'm off to university with my firm choice :woo:
I flopped my STEP exams so I'll be going to Warwick for mathematics, instead of Cambridge.

A bit disappointed, but I can't really complain.

I'm sorry you aren't going where you wanted to. You are definitely allowed to be disappointed, it can be very unnerving having your plans changed. You should still be proud of everything you have achieved though and your student experience will still be fab I am sure

See you there for the same reason  You're right though, it's hard to complain when your backup uni for maths is Warwick!

I was expecting an A* in biology for which I had worked so so hard but got an A, despite feeling all of my tests and exams reflected an A* and my teacher gave me the same feedback, and hinted that I was on my way to an A*. I got an A and though super happy felt that I deserved an A* specially with the high ums score which was higher than other students who had an A*. I wrote to my exam's officer asking on appealing, etc and she told me that I should be happy for my grade or that I could repeat the exam- so that frustrated me more cuz it gave me no solutions. Anyways, im still grateful tho.

I'm feeling really good! The grades feel a little anticlimactic with the inflation and whatnot but I also got a mark breakdown which was nice to see.

I actually made a video going over my expectations then opening my results if anyone wants to watch! Link is here: https://youtu.be/zR7xF0-ywgs

Just waiting on email confirmation in regards to my subject but I'll be going to university in September.
I really struggled with biology and expected to get D/E but surprisingly got a C! I know a C isn't that impressive to most but I'm really happy with that!
Haha! I'm really happy you watched. Thank you so much 😊
