Can i be an accountant with just AAT

Thanks for any response u give me. So basically left college with more than 5 GCSES at grade 9-4 and i wanted to do an apprenticeship. Then had to retake english, got my grade 4 so thats all sorted. Was so stuck on getting an apprenticeship that i didnt even apply to colleges. All family thought i was stupid and a failure nd now i realise. Corona virus is making it really hard to get an apprenticeship. My question is can i become an accountant with just the full AAT. Im starting level 3 soon and will progress hopefully. Also can i go uni with 5 GCSES inc maths and english plus level 3 accounting? I heard its worth 160 UCAS points but the web is full of lies so idk. Please give me advice all my friends are starting uni and i am currently working in an admin role 9 to 5 my family say stay there but i want to pursue accounting and prove i am not the dumb, lazy kid i think a lot of people think i am LOL.
