My daughter is unlikely to meet her firm/provisional Uni offers. As well as her three A levels, does an EPQ count when going through clearing? Will it help? She got a 'B' in it.

Yes, unis generally take the EPQ into account. For example, the University of Southampton asks for A*AA for one of their engineering courses but lowers it to an A*AB if you get an A in the EPQ.

Thanks, I guess I am wondering if unis will take into account the EPQ if my daughter has to go through clearing? Her whole EPQ group was supervised by a teacher with no experience and the group did badly. My daughter was lucky to come out with a B but sadly not an A so none of her offers were reduced by one grade. Will the EPQ help in clearing? I have my doubts.
