I pronounce it as 'issue' and not 'isshue'....does anyone do the same? I mean like all politicians pronounce it as 'issue' so it must be correct right?

I believe, phonetically, it should be pronounced how it's spelt.

Otherwise 'sue' would be pronounced, 'shue' right?

Doesn't really matter though, no-one speaks every word perfectly and if I heard someone pronouncing it the proper way I'd probably think it was slightly weird.

Try asking people to pronounce 'similiarly', you won't get the same answer off any two people.

"Issshoe". Like tissue. Not "issyou". That sounds ridiculous.

I am well surprised by the responses. How come the correct way of saying it is 'issue' (well the politicians seem to think so) yet the majority say isshue?

Apparently "is-yoo" is a British pronunciation predominantly; therefore maybe the politicians are playing this up in order to look more sophisticated.
