Hey everyone,

I'm confused on the UCAS application!! The unis want you to specify the major pathway you want to take but I don't understand where you specifically put this...my choice of pathway depends on the uni so it can't go in my PS.

Please help!!!

When you add the course on the actual application there is a section called further details where you can put the major.

Just double check if they have a specific code for the pathway, so for me the Uni of Exeter has 'CAH' for the application rather than Classics and Ancient History

Final Update on choices:

University of Kent
University of Exeter
University of Essex
University of Leeds
Keele University

All for Liberal Arts and all but Kent includes study abroad

Hey @Immortal-Reaper!

I just wanted to say a thank you for applying for Kent!
So you're aware, in case you haven't visited already, we've got some open days coming up either in person or virtual, that you may be interested in!
https://www.kent.ac.uk/courses/visit/open-days. Visiting a campus and seeing what's around is a really important part of the decision you'll make, and it's what made me choose Kent. If you can't attend, we also have virtual tours and you can ask all the questions you need at our University of Kent SR page here.

Best of luck!

Managed to go to the 23rd October open day and loved it! It's true that you'll never get the true feeling of a university until you visit!

No only some Universities have majors for their Liberal arts degree, you'd have to double check their website

Hey! I applied for Liberal Arts at Leeds and at Nottingham (Sociology at York, Bath and Bristol). My A-Level predicted are A* x3 (biology, psychology & sociology) as well as A in EPQ. Leeds I have put sociology as a major.
Got offers from both - AAB for Nottingham (ABB as long as I get the A in EPQ) and AAA for Leeds.
Anyone else applied to either of those?
Definitely leaning towards Nottingham for liberal arts.
