Government plans to cut civil service jobs

Anyone saw this on the news today? I am a current civil servant and very anxious

I've never been described as 'civil', I refuse to be a 'servant', and therefore this story is irrelevant to me.

Seems more likely they'll cut external recruitment and not replace roles when they leave to cut numbers. Internal people should be fine.
