Should I go on NCS? (need advice kinda quick please!)

I'm currently signed up for a 2 week NCS programme (since residential is cancelled this year). The issue is, I'm likely to miss the first 3 - 5 days of the programme as I have other plans. Do you think it will still be worth going for the final week or week and 2 days? I ask this because I'm worried that joining the programme late will mean I've missed out on those activities that help everyone get to know each other, so might feel like a stranger? Idk maybe I'm overthinking, but if anyone's gone NCS would love some advice!
Is it not possible to reschedule the NCS? As in go to a different set of dates

Nope, the cohort for this year is done :frown: Which is why I'm unsure if I should go or not considering the above circumstances.

I know people who arrived one or two days later to mine! You should be alright for first week and shouldn't miss much. Second week in my opinion is less worth it but it is really what you make of it. How enjoyable it is really depends on what you decide to do for your charity work.

Do you have a way to travel there by yourself though?

That's fine, you can miss a few days and be fine they don't care

I went last summer holidays, and for me the first few days were key in order to make a friends group which lasted the 2 weeks. If you're very good at socialising then that probably won't be a problem for you in the last week or so, but if you sorta struggle with that sorta stuff, you might end up lonely and I don't want that to happen!
