I want to go to a top University for computer science, such as Oxbridge, ICL, UCL, Manchester, and was wondering if these super-curricular activities would be helpful.

I was thinking of:

-Making a pretty good game in C++ (a programming language), looking forward to this

-Building a website (May be the least helpful)

-Taking part in competitions for Maths and Computer Science

-Reading books On maths and Computer Science

-Create blogs, YouTube tutorials on programming

I’m moving to year 12 and my GCSEs are great, and was wondering which activities I should prioritise, that would be the best for showing my passion in computer science.

I wouldn’t mind any more maths or computer science related super curricular suggestions too.

Thanks

Winning competitions on a national level would be pretty impressive. Having a blog is also something that would really distinguish you from other candidates, and shows a passion for the subject.
