It's a common myth, but resits actually aren't harder at all - they're not supposed to be and they're not allowed to be.

There might be a very slight, unnoticeable difference, the same way there might be a difference between two consecutive years of students sitting their GCSEs.
No they're at the same level, because the November and January series aren't always just taken by students resitting - sometimes they are taken by students sitting it for the first time rather than going for a summer sitting.
So it wouldn't be at all fair if they were harder.

November exams are not for first-time sitters in England in a year when summer exams take place.

Presumably the OP is talking about taking resits this year rather than in non-pandemic years.

My daughter is doing IGCSE English Language this November. First attempt.

We can't assume that - these aren't resits!! They are counted as first sitting ...
They should be at the same level but obviously there will be a little bit of variation just as there is with the summer series. Not uniformly easier or harder.
