Hi I'm a gay guy and when I tell this to new people I meet (not other gays) I usually get asked 'are you a top or a bottom?' Both guys and girls ask me this. Do you think this is an acceptable question to ask a gay guy you've just met?

I think its because as I have mentioned my sexual orientation people think its ok to ask about sex related stuff.
