Fianlly made a decision about the order.

Getting a meal for 1 which is poppadoms and spiced onions, with veg pakora, chicken vindaloo as my curry, with cheese naan

And a munchy box(mixed pakora, kebab meat, chips, cheese)

and a Hogie meal which is a kebab with chips and cheese on top all for like £14 delivered.

Will have to last me a few days though otherwise will be sick and gain loads of weight.

you absolute pie.

No, I can't get on either. It's that time of year when anyone who had exams in December is checking for their results every 10 minutes...
Is it just me or is it impossible to care about an exam that's been postponed for a month?

Indeed. This is why I will fail sociology this afternoon!

And G8D have exam results come out yet?

i just had one exam! i cant explain how ****in happy i am! it was basically a repeat of exact questions i practiced yesterday! i hope you can gather how happy I am from my exclamation marks!

i know i wont remember any of the stuff i learnt by monday! but that doesnt matter, cause the exams over!
hmmm i dont expect the aerospace department to release their results so fast yet, they always end up releasing their results last. last year we got our results 2 days after the day that the registry had specified as the latest
Exams results have started going up, law folks. Might be old news by now, though. B2 for Labour law, would have bitten your hand off if you'd offered me that before the exam.

Only Tax is up for us at the moment, I got a C2. I always do worse in coursework than in exams :frown: (Law and Govt notwithstanding, that didn't go too well either but at least that was for a reason).
Eng Lit isn't gonna be up till mon/tues they've told us...and I doubt sociology will be up yet as was after Christmas...

Is that what you are doing? I am studying all that but at Caledonian but plan to ask UOG about transferring there even if I have to do the first year again since they told me to go there full time I would need to do an access course(which is kinda stupid when I have NQ's NC and ND and a HNC!) just because the last course I finished was 4 years ago

That was the other reason I did that single module/evening class at UOG last semester to try and use that as a stepping stone(plus to get access to UOG student facilities)

Kinda stupid in some ways though as I am a mature student with work experience in a few fields too.

I'm doing Eng Lang, but Eng Lit and Sociology are my second and third subjects. I could have gone straight into second year (A Levels = epic) but decided to go into first (easier to make friends etc.)

I did summer school 9 years ago when 18 and got BBC in it without trying and got distinctions at college for each of the courses I did but they say that courses have to be no more than a few years old which defeats the purpose of taking them.

I did economics and Russian history in the first semester at Caley and Crime and Society and psychology this semester.

I am actually not sure the best method to do in the next academic year, to do an access course for a year which I would get funding for(I seriously am not making enough to make ends meet this year i.e about £30 a week after paying rent and before I pay travel) or stay part time as I can def go part time at UOG

Kinda annoying that when I asked about uni 4 years ago I was told I could go into year 2 of a business degree at a few unis now I took a few years out each uni I have spoken to has said an access course as its not as if I have forgot all my skills!

Didn't pass well :/

You got all yours back yet?

Also: why did you come up to Champs? Seen you and Laura outside then you just ****ed off?

Nope. Should be getting maths back before the 25th. DO NOT WANT.

Cos we were Braeheadbound and couldn't be arsed hanging about. And Laura hates Champs.

Faceoff tomorrow (today)?

Hi guys, little advice needed.

When do we need to properly start flat hunting?
Where are the best places to look to find flats - a lot of websites I've looked at so far seem pretty rubbish?
Also, at the moment there's only two of us, due to various issues. Is it better to stick as a two or find someone else - if so, would it be better for one of us to find an unattached friend (who may not be a mutual friend) or just to advertise on the SRC noticeboard? I'm fine to live in a two, but also am aware that it's probably cheaper to share in a three, and it might be easier, but as we do different courses and stuff, I don't know that there's anyone we both know to join. It's a complicated issue I'd rather not go into here. But any advice on any of these questions would be much appreciated!
