Oh yes it was indeed a lovely day! French video was crap. Moodle quiz was ok. Italian was good, I hope so anyway! How did you find them? Which French one did you go to?
i went to the 10am, most boring subject in the world, teaching strikes
i liked the italian one, i was a geek and went home and put it all into google translate and i think i got the gist of it. moodle was good, except ive spoken to 3 or 4 people who cheated and got better marks than me so it's a bit annoying
that's really strange, until 5 minutes ago the link gave me the 2010, and now the page has completely changed and it has 2011 ones. my computer has taken 'slow' to a new level
Do the protesters not realise that the reason they are getting kicked out the Hetherington is nothing to do with the principle of the protest and everything to do with the fact they broke into and vandalised adjoining buildings and assaulted visitors to the university.
They were there illegally anyway, but the university let them be there until things got out of hand.
Idiots.
They didn't actually do that, you realise? Most of the stuff on that email was either completely fabricated, or actions performed by non-occupants, or else something that has no bearing on anything whatsoever, e.g. the fact that a drunk person tried to gain, and was refused, access.
I'm not condoning violence, and the kettling of Aaron Porter was out of order, but generally I think the actions of university management, and of the police today, are completely wrong regarding the occupation.
Believe it or not, it's better than anyone else I know. Spare a thought for these poor chaps:
"Not really. 3 in first week on wed, thurs, fri. 3 in second week tues, thurs, sat. 1 in third week on monday [so you could say 4 in the space of a week]. Then the last two on the two last days (thurs, fri) in week four." (By my reckoning that's 27, 28, 29, 03, 05, 07, 09, 19, 20)
"Any chance you also have four on consecutive days from the 27th to the 30th? Arrghhghhghg"
"five exams in a week!"
"Exam timetable: 2 in first week, 3 in second week (including Saturday), 2 in third week and 3 in fourth week. Nasty."
But this one is the best...
"6,7,9,9,11,11,12 " I particularly like how nothing more needs to be said

Great, let us forget the pathetic behaviour of these thugs who put staff in danger by trying to get into No 11 after the cops came around, or their "let us march to Muscatelli" rally where they got lost in the cloisters, then smashed a pane in a door(of course they will put it as the fault of security, fact is they were banging on that door violently), or their public endorsement of kettling Porter, or the sheer embarrassment and loss of repute they have brought to the university by acting like immature children after failing to propose a sensible business plan for the Hetherington.
I don't like the occupation simply because they're making stupid "demands" that clearly aren't going to be met under any circumstances. I saw the occupation guy on Newsnight saying something like "the university is being run like a business, not a place of education" Sorry if anyone on here is associated with the occupation, but those folk really need to get a grip on reality.
