Get better soon hun!

I've been revising in the sunshine! PROPER GORGEOUS WEATHER!

Had ice cream break and all!

Thank you  And that sounds lovely! I might do that tomorrow if I'm feeling better, I did most of my A-level revision outside, and it worked then.

I wish I could get out in this sun :frown: Hope it lasts beyond next Wednesday :crossedf:

Ahh me too. I actually dreamed that I walked out of my last exam and it started pissing down  My last one's Friday (unless resits become necessary )

I'm doing Beckett, Austen, Herbert (proper revision), quick revision of Woolf and Donne as well.

Preferably would like to write essay on Austen and Herbert and do Beckett for close reading, but impossible to tell what close readings will come up!

Ah, okay. Austen? as in the short story one? I'm doing Beckett, Hamlet, Roth, Browning and Chopin so same number as you! There always seems to be an extract on Hamlet so hoping to do that for the close reading section. Was debating whether to look at Herbert as well but I don't think I will now. Thanks!

Oops meant Bronte not Austen :facepalm2: That shows you how well revision is going!

Yeah does seem to be a Hamlet, but I did Hamlet for essay so would like to avoid if possible just for fear of repetition!

Did 10 hours in the library today, then bull****ted my way through a physics exam. Next exam's on Friday afternoon. Cheers, registry.
Have done barely any studying today, surely the closer it gets to exams the greater the sense of urgency should be? Worrying.

I did however give chase to some junkie who had forgotten to remove a security tag from the football top he was stealing in what can't have been his most inconspicuous attempt at shoplifting. So at least when my folks ask if I've 'done anything' today, I can truthfully answer yes.
I did 5 hours in the sun and got burnt...but I had ice cream :ahee:

Yeah I'm not exactly loving the registry myself tbh. Biology on Tuesday evening, Psychology this afternoon at two, then Chemistry on Friday. Bah.

So, I have 5 exams between tomorrow and the 11th of May. Only started studying for tomorrows. Why am I not worried?
I'm struggling to worry about these exams as well... to be fair I haven't gone near the Politics material so I'm sure The Fear will kick in once Eng Lang is out of the way.

Which topics you revising for Eng Lang?
One exam down, two to go. Today's was a shocker. Things can only get worse considering that today's exam was the one i was confident for!

Walking into my exam with literally no chance of not passing, cool.

This is how I feel, and my exam is on friday. I spent 2 weeks studying for one half of the exam, and two days for the other half (it's one of the awkward exams for two classes over the whole year).

I already have an A4 for 50% of this (it's a 40 credit course). I can literally get an F3 (not that I plan to) and still pass the course.

Mines is 20 credits. I need a GPA of 13 to get into MEng this year, and getting anything less than a B in my two 20 credit subjects could **** that up. As long as I get B's in them, I could get away with the odd C in any other class and still get the required GPA.

13 is a... C2, right?

Good luck

thanks muchly, good luck to you aswell

Anyone popping along to the kelvingrove party after the exams on friday?
Speaking of degrees and exams and whatnot - I've heard people say that Junior Honours counts for 40% of your degree classification and Senior Honours for 60%, but can't find this stated anywhere in my course literature. Is this a Glasgow Uni thing or only for certain departments/faculties?
I think it depends on the faculty. It's definitely the case for English lit but not psychology for example (and then it's depending on whether you do joint and single honours too)
I hate fire alarms at 4:30am...

Nope, won't be going to KG, got another exam on Tuesday which not nearly prepared for and it's my birthday on Monday so gonna revise Fri-Sun
