Well done!

I'm trying to decide what modules to do next year - made slightly more confusing by the fact that I keep switching between wanting to do single honours history and joint history and philosophy, so I need to choose things that will keep my options open!

I'm thinking mine will be Social and Economic History - not exactly a doss, but I think I need to do an extra history module, and it looks interesting, and is mostly stuff I've done a bit of before so shouldn't be ridiculously hard, I hope!

Definitely! In my philosophy essay last semester, it was on a topic I'd done at school so I ended up referencing some of my old teachers, because I pretty much just used my A-level notes for it, Still came out with a decent grade, so it can't have been a bad idea! What subjects are you thinking of doing next year? I assume you're dropping Sociology?

Dropping Sociology faster than you can say Karl Marx...no idea what I'll do...whatever has minimal lectures and minimal work!
Looks like I got out of Central Station just before the **** hit the fan today. It did take my train 5 hours instead of 3 though :colonhash:

**** got windy.

Oh. I've been experiencing that today. Had to go outside and support my garden fence as it was being blown out of the ground. In my pyjamas. Not cool.

You can say that again. For some stupid reason, I decided to sprint down argyle street when the wind was in full force.

It seemed like a good idea at the time, until the wind kicked in behind me and I couldn't actually stop:eek:

All trains to and from Central were suspended because of downed overhead lines. It must have happened just after I left.

When? Not that I paid any attention to anyone else in the station at that time - the Queen could have walked past me and I wouldn't have noticed
