I did hazards this year as my physical thing, was pretty easy going as physical geography goes. Going to be doing Philo's option and probably the cities one, but it's Ronan so might not. Might do GIS if I have to.

 I know - my choices were heavily influenced by who the lecturer is going to be. Probably the wrong thing to do but there's a couple that I've had enough of this year and would like to avoid.

Not the wrong thing at all! You won't do well if you don't like the lecturer/lecturer doesn't like me. I've really went off Routledge this year and would hate to be in a class taken by him. I'd fail. Whereas Chris is much fairer and doesn't push his views on you.

Hello all.

I also did Geography and got a C2.

Just thought I'd throw that in.

I got exactly the same, and I'm really happy with it. I turned up to 6 lectures all year - I couldn't have even vaguely told you what we'd even studied outside of labs until two days before the exam.

If I get anything other than an A/high B in economics though I'll be annoyed.
I am still waiting. I got Lit pretty early and was happy but the Language and Psychology department seem to be pretty slow. I just tried websurf by the way and it said it's "busy". Does it work for anyone else?

I just tried there and it was busy for me too. What year are you in? They'll focus more on the honours results just now and then have a discussion about them.
First year. So I am probably the last one to be informed. Which is fine I get that they are busy with the honours people. It just doesn't make me less impatient
Thanks for checking though

How odd. I got a C2 for geography too. (first year) I was pretty pleased considering the minimal effort i put into it considering i was never too enthused about doing geography in the first place.
 Still waiting for Psychology

Congrats.

I get my results on Monday at the earliest. The external examiner stuff is being done on Friday and then it's up to the university to decide when they put them on Websurf. *scared*

Websurf is really getting on my moobs. First it is "busy" all day long. Now I'm stuck at the login screen, and when you click "login" more than once it tells you to piss off. Well, what it really says is "ONE CLICK IS SUFFICIENT".:mad2:

It should be working now, at least mine is.
Yeah, i had the same all day... working now, though.
Thanks folks- best of luck in your results. Rumour is, Websurf is on the way out (it was only introduced in 2004) and the new version should be live by 2011.
Well done on your result! Websurf is dire, but I'll have graduated by the time it is replaced.

Well, the replacement is in testing- it'll probably be a pilot next year, and the last time they did it, the Science faculty were the guinea pigs. Who knows- you might well have the first shot! Not that it'll be any better, they're notoriously bad at sorting things out with regards to IT.
