MyCampus has email?! Also d'you know what order we're doing the books in?
Yeah, it's just the uni e-mail
This order:

Read Dorian Gray and halfway through The Good Soldier. It's ok I suppose. Much better than last semester's reading I should have read Winter's Tale for Strathclyde last year but I got away with not reading it ... hence why I came to Glasgow
Mad notion to take up horse-riding again but FFS, £25 for a 30 min lesson? Aye right Strathclyde offered horse-riding as part of its gym membership
I'm doing The Winter's Tale this year for AH English. It's very, very weird and I'm not sure whether I like it or not. I do like the breaking of the fourth wall that you'll see though.

Interesting It does have the most famous stage direction EVAR though
I just did 'Troilus and Cressida', another Shakespeare play, for English. THAT play is weird. I watched this BBC adaptation in the library, it was hilarious, all the male actors were flamboyantly, fabulously gay, and it was so over-acted

Exit, pursued by bear!
I'm not a huge fan of Shakespeare in general. I know it's probably ridiculous considering I'm doing AH English and am quite fond of literature, but I find the language used impossibly dense and unintuitive; I don't mind watching it if it's a good production, though. I saw A Midsummer Night's Dream and Macbeth by the RSC in Stratford earlier this year.
If you ever get the chance, watch The Winter's Tale. The most honest comparison I can make is to The Mighty Boosh during this part of their live show.
I did The Winter's Tale for A-level. I didn't really enjoy it that much, although the production of it we saw was great, and it had an actress who has been in Doctor Who in it

I've read Way of the World which I liked because Comedy of Manners are always a good laugh. It's not as good as Sheridan but still...

I did Winter's Tale for A Level, I think I liked it only because I could talk about it, rather than enjoying the play itself...if that makes sense...
I tried to put 'In the Cage' on my eBook Reader but it's not working I don't like 'Wuthering Heights' much, either. But my friend (who's read like every book ever written) is like "OMG it's amaaaaaazing once you get into it ."
'Troubles' looks good but it's pretty long so I have to go into Glasgow to buy it
I maintain that 'Dorian Gray' is THE best book evar

It's working on my kindle
Nooooo, I've read Wuthering Heights before, I've studied it before, even when you get into it there are still no redeeming features about it
Dorian Grey will be great, gotta love Oscar Wilde!
What's the average date for getting back December exam results? Never had a January exam before so no idea, and if I haven't passed my third subject I need to take another subject this semester, would like to know before I start
Exam on the 13th... Might start libing this week...
I can't tell whether or not the lib is open today as I have no signal on my phone and no one is answering my e-mail. And I do no work in my flat. But I have a TON of reading to do and the wind will probably close it today
How are you getting on with the reading? I have Troubles, Wuthering Heights and Poor Things left to read. The Driver's Seat is so weird.
I keep forgetting I have a Classics exam next Friday
I came down with glandular fever after christmas and my brain refuses to function so haven't been reading. However phoned David Newell (what a dude) and he told me it's okay to take time off uni to recover properly first, so I'm taking first week off and hopefully I'll make some headway with reading once my brain decides it can work.
