University of Glasgow blether thread

What's taking Lang so long? This is really getting on my tits now. I don't like knowing that one half of my Joint Honours is pretty secure, but not knowing this half

Eng Lit hasn't got back either so I'm guessing School of Critical Studies is being a ****ing piss take.

Also have you heard back about course choices for year abroad, Katie Lowe hasn't confirmed mine yet and as deadline's been moved forward I'm getting panicky!

Sorry to say I've abandoned my year abroad plans, just couldn't quite get it to work with money, courses etc etc... planning a prolonged visit after graduation now

Theology is in Critical Studies and they managed to publish yesterday... so it's not the whole school to be fair!

Hmm it's unlike Eng Lang to be disorganised, Eng Lit I'm used to it, but Lang results were so on time last year.

It's ok, I had kind of gone off the idea anyway... I'd rather go for a long trip and travel about without worrying about the insane amount of studying you're gonna have to do :P

Yeah, they're really letting themselves down. Might have to yell at Jeremy tomorrow, he can be our scapegoat. Speaking of Jeremy, he's the only thing that is going to make Middle English even vaguely interesting this semester ><

See for me the courses out there are much more interesting than the courses in Glasgow

Urgh Middle English. Kill me now! Luckily my tutorial on it was really good last week so actually have a decent grounding I think!

Thank heavens we don't have that awful woman from last year again... she was just shocking.

To be honest I'm not overly enthused by any of the strands at the moment. People & Places should be more interesting but Carole Hough doesn't really bring it to life. Roll on Honours!

I'm missing something obvious here, but where do I get my SAAS student reference number?
I have a customer reference number and a student support number, but neither of them is working on the web page...

It should be on your SAAS letter. Hopefully you've kept hold of it?

Yep I do, but all I've got on it says Customer ref number (11 numbers) and Student Support number (SAAS + 8 numbers + a letter). I tried putting those 8 numbers in but it didn't work, says it's invalid. If I have security questions I'm not going to remember them either, so phoning them up will be fun.
I need to start writing stuff down!

On your award notice from SAAS, not the SLC, there is an 8 digit 'SAAS Ref No.' just above SLC Ref No. This is what you need I think, and this number isn't on the SLC letter and is different from the others.
