1 day down, ********** more to go.
Starting back tomorrow, feel ridiculously out of touch.

I've now caught freshers flu :frown: Loads of lectures tomorrow, so I'll just drug myself up and wrap up warm and try to cope!

Does anyone know if Level 1 non-beginners German oral classes start this week or later? I'm hoping later, as going tomorrow and having to speak German for the first time in a few months when I'm not feeling well will not be a nice experience.
I have a ridiculously empty timetable this year - 8 hours of classes a week in S1, dropping to 7 in S2. Of course that doesn't mean I haven't got much work to do :o: In fact I can't quite believe how quickly 9 months has flown by since I had my dissertation introductory lecture - it seems like yesterday :s-smilie: And now I've got less than 3 months before I hand it in...
Also, I've never felt so old looking at all those fresh faced newbies. When I was starting my 1st first year they were only just starting their GCSEs :facepalm2:

(Or whatever the Scottish equivalent is  Despite living here for 4 years I still have no idea how the Scottish education system works).

just got my final timetable - I have six lectures in a row, no breaks! If you see someone passed out around the Hetherington Building, that'll be me.

Freshers annoy me, especially the ones that crowd the Boyd Orr level 2

also the first years that have to take the skills test in the maths lab in boyd orr level 4 piss me off.
last year in the week before the deadline for our projects we were chucked out of the lab every day for them to do their stupid "skills test".
i took a look at one of them man they're so easy it'd be embarrassing to fail but so many do.
******* freshers i hate them

i wasn't really
i went into lectures then i went home that was all I did (because all i had was either a lecture 9-10 or a lecture 10-11 every day)
then i went back for a second first year in a different course wise to the ways of the world and still didn't act like one

yes, get it out of the way now that's the way it should be

yeah because I had work on three of the five days of freshers week
it's overrated anyway
i don't know a single person who considers freshers week anywhere near being one of the best times at uni.

and I studied law first and now maths
and yes it really is easy but loads of people fail it apparently
they brought it in when i was in second year so I never had to do it.

Back at Uni today, the feeling that staying at home means you miss half the experience is hitting home. Maybe it's the long commute for only 2 hours of introductory lectures, though. Can't wait to have the cash to get out in town a lot more.

On the plus side, my classes this year seem pretty interesting, should be good when they get in full swing.

totally, if there's anything i regret about uni, it's not staying in halls!
still 2 hours to get into uni? :s you're not that far away surely? only takes me roughly 40 mins on the bus depending on traffic
