How much reading is there in a classics degree?

I've just started part-time doing Classical Studies at the OU. So bearing in mind this is just for my first 60 credits (which as a part-time student is my whole year), I have 11 books to study from and read, plus I imagine I'll be using library book resources as well.

I have a BA and MA in the Classics, and there is a lot of reading, especially if you're doing the literature-based modules. It all depends what you want to gain from your degree. If you want top marks, then reading is a must.

I may pick your brain at some point. I'm hoping to do MA after I've finished my BA.

Did you do a research or taught MA?
