Hi everyone,

I'm looking at applying to this masters programme, the Political Theory MSC at LSE. I'm deeply fascinated in political theory, and hope to pursue a career in public policy/government/ a think tank in some way. My undergraduate was in Philosophy, specialising in political philosophy for the most part.

I have been nervous to apply to another 'theory' based degree, I've been exploring options purely in public policy but I do admit the Political Theory course looks so compelling. Could anyone who has taken the course give some indication of the likely prospects after graduating? It's the one masters I'm look at at LSE that lists "further academic research" as a career prospect, rather than a clear line into a political career.

Any information about other's experiences would be great!

Hi, I have applied to the MSc in Political Theory too. Do you plan on attending? or do you get any information in the meanwhile that seems useful for considering enrolling the course? I essentially share the same concerns as you do. So, I would be grateful for any help.
