Medify vs Actual UCAT

I'm using Medify to revise for the UCAT and I find VR section really hard. For those who took already took the UCAT and used Medify to prepare, how much did you find it useful?
For VR read the question first and scan for keywords in the extract. In my experience my VR extracts were shorter in the real exam but everyone sits a different exam so anecdotes will vary. Also check out some youtube tutorials for VR which will have tips and walkthroughs to better understand how to approach a question.
