Just had an email to say that applications do close on the 18th of November. However I assume that once you begin, you have until December to finish the application.

I wouldn’t say maths based but you’ve got to analyse information, like graphs

Just to say it definitely closes mid November - including for those who have already started tests. It was confirmed in the application process seminar today.

Is there a list with the number of vacancies per specialism, as with the Civil Service Fast Stream?

I've finished the Capptivate stage and am on hold - to confirm, has anyone else progressed to Simulate? I'm wondering if we're all on hold until more applicants have completed the assessments, like last year.

I would have to assume we won't hear about the outcome straight away. I've just completed the Captivate stage and received an email saying they will let me know the outcome of my application before November. Last year I applied in November and it took about 5 days to receive an outcome - hoping this year will be similar.

Hoping so as well! Good news is today I got a strengths-based report from the Capptivate section. I suspect it's automated, but at least things are moving along.

Can someone please share what the Capptivate Assessment stage involves? As in is it a mixture of psychometric tests, if so which ones. I find it hard to believe it should take 40 mins to complete

No, as far as I understand, there is no limit as there was in previous years

I think since its a new type of assessment than previous years its not something that can be practiced. Not like you would need to its a fairly straight forward test which assesses NHS values and analytical ability and just so know its not timed so you can think through the questions.

Hi everyone. Anyone know where I can find practice tests for the NHS Capptivate assessment?
They said that they were going to upload them to the GMTS website by the end of this week, but they were having technical difficulties. Hopefully they will go up soon. I’ve been holding off doing it in the hope of these practise questions, but if they don’t go up soon I’m just going to go for it.

Oh that's good, where did you hear that from? (I was confused when my email's link to the practice tests simply sent me to the GMTS homepage...)
