i wanted to go to university next year but because im failing science my science teacher told me that im going to fail all of my alevels (im predicted c’s in my other subjects) and that im going to have to settle for a course i don’t want to do. im really upset about it and don’t know what to do

In some sense, she may be right. Getting C's is okay but does limit your options.

She was probably trying to tell your most probable reality, before it actually happens, so you can find it within yourself to push yourself to get better grades, open more doors and thus settle for a course you like.

Unless you found a course which you like, at a uni which you like and will accept you with C's, then I guess you don't have anything to worry about.
