Hi!
Induction week is a 1 week event where you get to meet your tutors for your modules and get introduced to your course, classmates, and teachers. There is usually a scheduled "lecture" for each module where your module coordinator will introduce themselves and their team and talk to you about what the module entails (things like exams and coursework, when your lectures will be, what content you'll cover, etc).
Freshers week is more of a month event where there are lots of activities that help you to socialise with other people (in particular those starting uni). They'll be taster sessions for societies and clubs, lots of parties and social events, competitions that you can enter, and so much more.
In a nutshell, induction week is to do with your course and freshers week is to do with the social side of uni.
Hope this helps!

Hi, when does Fresher's week start and end this year?
Hi! NB15

Fresher starts the 4th of October and that's when the start of freshers fayre will be.
Freshers events tend to be across 2 weeks in Portsmouth. Events include trying as many societies as you like and joining them, nights out and course inductions.

I hope this helps!
Best wishes
