Hi I recently got a 6 in maths and Ik that meets a lot of university entry requirements but I was wondering if it was actually realistic to get on to a course with that grade

Lots of medical schools accept 6 at Maths, but these are minimum requirements. It will depend a lot on your other GCSE grades, your A level grades, your scores in clinical aptitude tests etc.

Yes. Just avoid GCSE heavy schools such as Cardiff, Leeds, Oxford or Birmingham.

Check the list of requirements above. Newcastle doesn’t use GCSE’s but they had a UCAT cutoff of 2820 last year; QMUL requires 777666 at GCSE and use a 50/50 weighing with the UCAS tariff and UCAT score. There are others too.

You need to check back on this thread when you have your predicted A levels and UCAT score. Or if you're interested to know now, there's plenty of information about which stats suit which Uni.
