I'm pretty stuck with this question could anyone help (b and c)
A student carried out an experiment to determine the relative atomic mass of calcium. She added 0.40 g of calcium to 100 cm3 of distilled water and collected the hydrogen formed. On completion of the reaction, she found she had collected 202 cm3 of hydrogen.
a Construct an equation for this reaction. (1 mark)
b Calculate the number of moles of hydrogen formed. (1 mark)
c Calculate the relative atomic mass of the metal. Quote your answer to one decimal place. (3 marks)

For a try writing out an equation, we know Ca and H2O react to form H2 but something else is also formed
Ca + H2O -> H2 + somethingelse To give a hint Ca dissolves in the H2O to form an aqueous solution so no solids like CaO is formed

b) Balance your equation and use the volume of hydrogen gas produced to work out the moles of H2 then Ca. Volume (cm3)= 24000 x moles

c) atomic mass = mass of calcium / moles of calcium calculated
