do CitizenCards get accepted?

considering ordering one as I only have a passport and kinda afraid to lose it. I know some ID's like this still get rejected so was wondering if anyone has tried it before?

I've personally never seen a place accept a citizen card.
Most people order a drivers provisional licence and use that. It's around £30, but worth it. It's easier to carry than a passport, you know most places will accept this and lasts a while.

Bars and clubs are meant to accept CitizenCards, but many don't. It's easier to get a provisional driving license (even if you don't intend to learn to drive), as that is definitely accepted everywhere.
